Approval for partnership with RLG entails an insurance review, a review of a carrier’s safety record, copies of operating authority and history, third-party logistic reference checks, and the signing of a carrier contract.
RLG monitors our carrier partners in the following areas:
- On-time performance via carrier scorecard
- Identification/operations including current company name, address, phone, MC or MX numbers, and more
- Inspection history, including roadside inspection numbers over a two-year span, compared to the national average
- The number of crashes reported in the last two years compared to the national average
- Safety rating and compliance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR)
- Alias searches for fraud prevention reasons
